Switch

Switch is a series of lamps inspired by repeated sensations or themes in dreams. I’m fascinated by the vast unknown of our sleeping mind, and surprised by how emotionally and physically evocative dreams can be, staying with us in our waking life. Each piece explores a specific and recurring dream theme, with their sleeping faces displaying an outward sense of calm while their body explores the dream experience through a use of form, pattern and colour. These pieces are all fully functional lamps.
